In order to match the theme of the wedding with us as a couple, the invitations should be vibrant, untraditional with a love for champagne and celebration.
The future shared family name Corke combined with the love for champagne and celebration became the starting point for the identity of the wedding.
For the invitations this meant a fusion of the expression “To pop the cork” and the name Corke.
Each of the 50 invitations were tied with a cork and cork became the theme throughout the wedding.
I made the entire lettering from scratch (including both letters and swashes). For the details (on the white sheed) I used Garamond.
